Minimum jackpot prizes will also be increased with the hike in ticket prices.
Prices of lotto tickets will increase to P25 from P20 starting February 1, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
PCSO noted that the hike in the price of the lotto tickets will also raise the minimum jackpot prizes across major games.
With the changes, the minimum jackpot prizes for the lotto games are as follows:
- Lotto 6/42: P10 million (from P6 million)
- Mega Lotto 6/45: P15 million (from P9 million)
- Super Lotto 6/49: P25 million (from P16 million)
- Grand Lotto 6/55: P45 million (from P30 million)
- Ultra Lotto 6/58: P75 million (from P50 million)
PCSO also reminded that consolation prizes will be divided among the winners with four and five winning numbers.
