Kapuso star Jillian Ward is counting down to a major milestone in her career as she prepares for her first-ever solo concert set on July 31 at the New Frontier Theater.
In Nelson Canlas' report on 24 Oras on Wednesday, the Sparkle actress opened up about her excitement over finally headlining her own show, sharing that performing has always been close to her heart.
"Passion ko din po talaga 'yung pag-pe-perform," Jillian said. "This time, magiging seryoso na 'yung mga performances ko."
When asked whether her rumored “Big Guy” will be in attendance, Jillian briefly replied, "Kung pupunta po."
Beyond acting, Jillian has also been making waves in music, having released her single "Pumapag-ibig" last month, following her 2024 track "Be All Mine."
At the same time, the young star remains focused on her acting commitments as she continues taping for the nearing finale of Never Say Die.
"Full force na po talaga 'yung ginagawa namin ngayon. Full force na 'yung effort, lahat lahat so na-excite na din ako sa kalalabasan. Kasi mas intense na po 'yung scenes, mas intense na lahat," she said.
Never Say Die also stars David Licauco, Raheel Bhyria, and Kim Ji-soo, and airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. after Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
