Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward enjoys working with Sparkada heartthrob Michael Sager in their high-rating GMA Prime mini-series My Ilonggo Girl

Their love team, affectionately dubbed "MicJill" by fans, has truly captured audiences' hearts with their undeniable on-screen chemistry as the characters Tata and Francis.

In Jillian's exclusive interview with 24 Oras, the home-grown Kapuso actress named Michael her “favorite leading man.'

She then mentioned the qualities that make the Sparkle actor special. Jillian said, “He really puts an effort po every day.”

“As in super effort talaga. He knows my favorite drink, my favorite food. 'Tapos he gets me those drinks and food kapag nafi-feel niya parang medyo down [ako].”

“Super na-appreciate ko na he is immensely attentive.”

As the finale of My Ilonggo Girl gets closer, Jill also talked about the exciting moments viewers should watch for in the coming weeks.

“Kung mapagbibintangan na naman si Tata at kung makakalaya siya dun sa pagbibintang ng pamilya ng Palma.

“At kung anong mangyayari kay Ma'am Margaret (Andrea del Rosario), kasi manganganib ang buhay ni Ma'am Margaret at sisihin nila si Tata. Titingnan natin kung paano lalaban si Tata.” the Sparkle talent said.

Meanwhile, Michael Sager shared how the feelings of Francis with Tata will further develop in the coming days.

“Slowly na na-attract at nafa-fall. Dun natin makikita kung talagang paninindigan ba niya 'yung feelings niya or pipiliin niya uli ang sarili niya to be safe. At sana naman tong si Francis na 'to magbago na para hindi makawawa ang ating Tata.”
