Who will be the newest leading man of the Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward in her upcoming romcom series?
Promising Sparkle actress Jillian Ward will embark on an exciting journey with a brand-new project.
After the successful two-year run of Abot-Kamay na Pangarap, the Star of the New Gen bagged a role in a Kapuso romantic-comedy series.
Jillian told 24 Oras some details about it and admitted doing a kilig series is challenging for her.
“Bilang child star, puro mga roles ko po talaga growing up is more on drama, family drama. Tapos wala po masyado mga ka-pair or romance sa story,” Jillian told Nelson Canlas.
She continued, “Medyo nag-start lang po nu'n sa Abot-Kamay, ayan na po. Ang daming manliligaw ni Analyn.”
Jillian is set to be paired this time with Sparkada heartthrob Michael Sager, whom she also worked with in Abot-Kamay na Pangarap.
He played the role of Mico in the afternoon soap.
“Ang ka-pair ko po dito si Michael Sager. Naka-work ko din po siya sa Abot-Kamay na Pangarap. Medyo naka-help din po 'yun, kasi siyempre naka-work ko na po siya, so medyo mas kumportable na rin po. Pero 'yun na nga kinakabahan pa rin ako, kasi hindi ako sanay talaga sa mga kilig-kilig na eksena.”
When the finale episode of Abot-Kamay na Pangarap aired last October, the home-grown Kapuso actress also took the opportunity to relax and do other stuff.
Jillian shared, “Nagpakulay po ako ng buhok, 'tapos medyo mas busy po ako ngayon sa ibang mga bagay. Like nagda-dance class po ako, nagfa-firing ulit ako 'yung mga ganun. Kahit saglit lang na-enjoy ko po siya.”
