A thousand lucky fans were able to hug Jin, too.

The past few days have been exciting and eventful for the fans of global group BTS as the group not only celebrated their 11th anniversary, but the members also reunited for Jin's military discharge.

Jin made his return and this year's Festa, the annual celebration of the band's anniversary, even more memorable by holding a special fan event for ARMYs.

For the first part of the event held on June 13, Jin hugged a thousand fans before performing and interacting with more fans at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul at the latter part of the day.

The band's record label, BigHit Music, previously announced on Weverse that the first session is a "time for light hugs with Jin per request from the artist."

At the second part of the event, Jin performed his solo single, "The Astronaut," an extended version of his trending song, "Super Tuna," and "Moon," from BTS's album, Map of the Soul: 7.

Meanwhile, Jin shared several photos from the special fan event on Instagram after, including a photo of the galaxy-themed stage.
