JK Labajo and Gloc 9 debut their collaboration "Sampaguita."
Singer-actor Juan Karlos Labajo and Pinoy rap icon Gloc-9 released their collaboration single “Sampaguita” earlier today, February 28.
Both artists announced the song debut on their respective Instagram pages by posting the behind the scenes clip of their recording.
In a previous interview with Gloc-9, he described “Sampaguita” as a powerful song.
“Na-inspire talaga ako ng binigay niya [JK] yung material.
“I think noong binigay niya sa akin 'yon, natapos ko na yung tatlong verses ko that night,” said Gloc-9 during the launch of Padi Point's Barkada Tour on Monday, February 24.
Weeks prior to the release of “Sampaguita,” JK posted a photo with Gloc-9 to announced their much-awaited collaboration.
The young singer wrote, “Chef JK and chef Gloc cooking something. Coming in hot this month xo.”
JK has been vocal about his plan to work with the “Sirena” rapper for his album.
Meanwhile, their fans can't contain their anticipation and amusement over the newly-released single and went on to praise the two artists.
