JM Yrreverre bids goodbye to Stars on the Floor with a revelation.
In an Instagram post, JM shared a trip down memory lane of photos from the past 16 episodes of the show.
"Closing my @starsonthefloorgma chapter with this trip down memory lane from the past 16 episodes," he began.
Revealing the backstory of his journey on Stars on the Floor, JM shared, "I was supposed to be one of the choreographers for this show."
However, he admitted that God had other plans and made him part of the competing dance stars instead.
"I was hesitant at first, but I chose to take the chance, shoot for the stars, and represent dance in its truest form," he said.
At first, JM thought it would be an easy journey, but as the weeks went by, he realized that his experiences on the show humbled and challenged him. He also shared that it reminded him of why he fell in love with dancing in the first place.
"This journey gave me something deeper than any title, the chance to share my story and to show a more honest side of myself. Letting the world see who I am through dance already feels like a win in my heart," he added.
He thanked his fellow dance stars, saying "I truly believe we were placed here by the universe. We built a family inside this show and supported each other in and out of the competition. Love you all."
JM also expressed his gratitude to the bosses, Gigi Santiago-Lara, Ruth Marinas, and Darling de Jesus-Bodegon, for believing in him and trusting him to be part of the show.
He gave huge thanks to director Paolo Valenciano and head choreographer Coach MJ Arda for "always standing up for artistry."
"I'll always look up to you both," he expressed.
He also gave a shoutout to the dance authorities who guided the dance stars, calling them "true masters of your craft."
JM also took time to appreciate the talented star choreographers, saying, "You have my deepest respect for being the backbone of every piece we performed."
At the end of his post, JM expressed gratitude to himself for "staying consistent from day one until the finale."
"Your fire and passion inspired others and helped this show shine even more. I'm walking away with a full heart and a deeper love for what I do," he added.
In the comments section, he shared a continuation of his long message and expressed more gratitude for the success of Stars on the Floor.
“To all the people behind the show @flurah @ulan25 our mommas, thank you for taking good care of us,” he said.
He also thanked director Miggy Tanchanco for his “creative mind” and the “magic” he puts into every incredible prod.
“Also to my @imfloreyes one of the realest out there MAMIMISS KITA!” he added.
