Actress Jo Berry is at a loss for words to describe her complex emotions as she makes her primetime comeback in 'The Master Cutter.'
In an exclusive interview with 24 Oras, Kapuso actress Jo Berry shared her mixed feelings of nervousness and excitement about returning to GMA Primetime, especially now that she is one of the stars of the upcoming series The Master Cutter.
She noted that this project stands out from her past work, describing it as significantly more challenging.
“Sobrang layo po neto sa lahat ng nagawa ko and it's very physically challenging talaga sa akin,” Jo said.
Jo also shared her excitement regarding her role in the series, noting that the character is physically demanding.
Because of this, she was able to test the limits of her physical endurance and see just how much her body could handle for such active roles.
“Excited din ako kasi ngayon ko palang nakikilala 'yung character ko as Ame,” she said.
She continued, “Dahil nga physical talaga 'yung character ko, nakikita ko din dito kung hanggang saan kaya ng katawan ko.”
The actress further shared that her character in the series conveys a powerful message that the audience can learn from, especially concerning respect for all people.
“As a boxer po dito si Ame, and marami pong ipapakita dito na sana kapulutan ng aral na hindi dapat ganun ang gawing trato sa mga little people,” Jo said.
Catch Jo Berry in the upcoming Kapuso series The Master Cutter, which premieres on GMA Prime this May.
