Congratulations, Jo Koy and Nicole Scherzinger!
Another Pinoy pride moment is making headlines as Filipino-Americans Jo Koy and Nicole Scherzinger are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Last July 23 (USA time), Walk of Famers Ming-Na Wen and Sheila E., alongside Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ron Frierson, announced the new class of honorees during a live press conference.
Jo Koy and Nicole will be honored under the Live Theatre/Live Performance category alongside Italian dancer Roberto Bolle.
On Instagram, the stand-up comedian celebrated the announcement by sharing a Reel of himself watching the press conference.
"This is the moment my son and I found out that I'm getting a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today," he wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, Nicole also shared her emotional reaction after learning she would receive one of Hollywood's highest honors.
"Dreams really do come true," she wrote in a post. "I am receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!!! I can hardly believe it!!! I am overwhelmed and so grateful! Look at God!"
Other awardees of the 2027 Hollywood Walk of Fame class include David Alan Grier, Lisa Kudrow, Bill Lawrence, Pedro Pascal, Adam Scott, Jeff Probst, Keke Palmer, Raven-Symoné, Karol G, David Guetta, Waylon Jennings (Posthumous), The Ramones, Joseph Saddler (Grandmaster Flash), Marc Shaiman, Sia, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Lil Wayne, and many more.
The dates for each honoree's star unveiling ceremony will be announced at a later time.
