Jodi Sta. Maria visited Kazakhstan and posed with some eagles with her son Thirdy.
Actress Jodi Sta. Maria's latest holiday destination is definitely a unique one.
Jodi visited Kazakhstan with her son Thirdy Lacson. Mother and son traveled to Issyk, in the Almaty Region found in the southeast part of the country.
She and Thirdy got the once in a lifetime chance to experience life as berkutchi or nomadic eagle hunters in Kazakhstan.
Donning traditional clothing, Jodi and Thirdy posed with some golden eagles and shared the photos on her Instagram account.
"Wander often. Wonder always. Life is a beautiful adventure 🤍," Jodi wrote in the caption of her post.
The berkutchi are part of the unique traditions of Kazakhstan. They hunt, sometimes on horseback, with the aid of golden eagles.
Jodi is one of the lead stars of the historic GMA, ABS-CBN and Viu Philippines collaboration Unbreak My Heart where she stars alongside Richard Yap, Gabbi Garcia, and Joshua Garcia.
Just last May, she proudly shared that Thirdy graduated from senior high school and will be going to college soon.
