Joey Marquez was the one who received Winwyn's certificate on her behalf during the latter's graduation ceremony.
No one is prouder of Winwyn Marquez's new title as a military reservist and master sergeant like her dad Joey Marquez.
On Instagram, the former beauty queen showed snippets of her dad's message as he showed photographs of her certificates as she graduated as a reservist under the Philippine Naval Command.
“Congrats, anak. I'm so proud of you. I love you,” Joey told Winwyn.

The Marquez patriarch was the one who received Winwyn's certificate on her behalf as the latter is currently on lock-in taping for her new Kapuso soap, Owe My Love.
Thankfully, Winwyn's family shared photos of the graduation ceremony that was attended not only by Joey but also by her brother Yeoj.

In September, Winwyn shared that Joey Marquez didn't know she applied for a Navy reservist position.
She told Aubrey Carampel of 24 Oras, “My dad just saw it on my Instagram. Bigla niya akong tinawagan at sinabi, 'Ano na naman pinasok mo? Ano na naman ginawa mo? Ba't 'di mo sinabi sa'min?”
