Although the COVID-19 pandemic has turned our lives upside down this year, newbie Kapuso star John Vic De Guzman wishes to look at the bright side.
The volleyball player-turned-actor is celebrating his 27th birthday today, September 23, and posted on Instagram that he has so many reasons to be grateful for amid this crazy year.
John wrote, “There are more than 27 reasons to still be thankful sa kabila ng lahat ng pinagdadaanan natin. Thank You Lord for the gift of life!”
Several celebrities reacted to his birthday post on Instagram, including fellow Kapuso David Licauco.

Early this month, John Vic joined the star-studded roster of GMA Artist Center. Aside from being a volleyball player, he is a host and sports analyst, too.
The moreno actor was also part of the horror flick Seklusyon in the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival directed by Direk Erik Matti, and appeared in the 2018 Regal Films movie Wild and Free starring Sanya Lopez and Derrick Monasterio.
In addition, the 2019 SEA Games silver medalist is also a celebrity endorser of clothing giant Bench.
