“Basta para sa Bayan - handa ko po kayong paglingkuran,” he captioned his post.

John Vic added, “The past weeks had been so challenging, juggling National Volleyball Team training and Philippine Air Force Reservist Military camp training at the same time. But I must say, it's all worth it because not everyone is given the opportunity to represent and serve their country.

“Ito po ang aking simpleng ambag bilang Pilipino - makakaasa po kayo sa aking serbisyo. SBCMT Sergeant John Vic De Guzman, reporting for duty.”

Among those who sent their congratulatory messages for John Vic include Kapuso celebrities Rocco Nacino, Jay Arcilla, Rita Daniela, and Betong Sumaya.
