For the first time since he transferred as Sparkle GMA Artist Center's consultant, star builder Johnny Manahan saw face-to-face some of the biggest names in the Kapuso network during the GMA Thanksgiving Gala on July 30.
According to Mr. M, he was surprised to see the celebrities whom he had just been seeing virtually for a year.
"Masaya naman, 'di ba? Masaya at nakita ko na, face-to-face, 'yung mga artista. Mas maganda sila sa personal, and I think they're having a nice time," he said to GMANetwork.com.
"'Yung mga iba, nai-imagine ko, maliit lang, matangkad pala. 'Yung mga iba, malapad, hindi pala. Halos lahat sila magaganda naman, e, he added. "So, I'm glad I got the chance to see them in person."
Aside from a night full of glitz and glamour, the GMA Thanksgiving Gala also served as a fundraiser for the benefit of GMA Kapuso Foundation.
Aside from building a new school complex at Magallanes Elementary School in Limasawa Island, Southern Leyte, part of the proceeds will also go to affected communities in Abra due to the recent earthquake.
