Jon Lucas announced the arrival of baby number three, Calvin Arthur!
Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre star Jon Lucas has shared that he has welcomed his third child, Calvin Arthur.
In an Instagram post, Jon announced the wonderful news of baby Calvin's arrival, accompanied by a photo of him holding the newborn in his arms.
As he introduced his son, he mentioned that he had been eager to share the news of the pregnancy for a long time but chose to wait until the baby was finally born.
“I've been wanting to share this with you guys, pero sabi ko next time na lang siguro kapag nandito na siya. Kaya hindi ko na rin papatagalin—hey guys, l'a like you to meet my son, CALVIN!” Jon wrote in the caption.
The Kapuso actor also shared that his son's birthday is extra special because it falls on the same day as the birthday of his late father, Arturo.
“Pinanganak siya ngayong April 17 at exactly 10 in the morning. Share ko na rin sainyo na ka-birthday siya ng aking namayapang Daddy Arturo. Kaya sobrang special talaga sa amin ang araw na ito. Parang buhay na buhay lalo ang alaala ng daddy namin,” he shared.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital, as well as the doctor and staff who assisted his wife during Calvin's delivery.
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga nakasama namin dito sa @jdmhph, lalo na kay Dra. Elissa Teng-Unas na kasama na namin mula pa kina Brycen at Brionna, at ngayon naman kay Calvin. Iba talaga sila mag-alaga dito at marami po ang magpapatunay niyan,” Jon expressed.
The Kapuso actor also thanked the Almighty for the blessings bestowed upon him and his wife. According to Jon, he is grateful that they are provided for during times when their financial situation is not always abundant.
“Higit sa lahat, nagpapasalamat kaming mag-asawa sa Diyos. Kahit mukhang nakakaluwag-luwag dahil sa sigla kong mag-post ng mga show, sa totoo lang, hindi laging may sobra,” Jon wrote.
Jon also expressed that the Lord has never forsaken them and that he continues to feel His divine presence.
“Ang tanging totoo sa buhay ko ay hindi kami kailanman pinabayaan ng Ama. llang taon ko nang nararamdaman at pinanghahawakan yung 'God will provide.' Kapag kailangan na kailangan ko na, doon ibinubuhos ng Ama ang biyaya,” shared Jon.
He also expressed his amazement, noting that his character, Daron, continues to appear in the Kapuso superserye Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre because it provides him with the opportunity to work and better provide for his family, especially with the arrival of his third child.
“Ang galing nga rin talaga kasi kaya pala si Daron ay nakasama pa natin nang matagal, dahil papunta pala sa mga araw na ito, meron pa siyang mas mahalagang misyon sa mundo ng mga tao,” Jon said.
“Kaya pala kinailangan niyang magtrabaho, dahil may higit pa sa ginto na naghihintay sa kanya,” he added.
Jon concluded his message by thanking all his followers for welcoming his child and offering praise to the Almighty: “SALAMAT SA INYONG LAHAT IN ADVANCE! Sa Ama ang lahat ng kapurihan!”
