Joyce Ching is part of the cast of the new installment of GMA primetime anthology I Can See You titled “AlterNate.”

Here, she will play the role of Angie, the sister of Michael (played by Dingdong Dantes), the long-lost twin of Nate (also played by the primetime actor).

But little did viewers know that Joyce and Dingdong are relatively connected to each other in real life. Dingdong was one of Joyce's godparents when she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Kevin Alimon, in December 2019 in Baguio.

In his Instagram post on January 5, Dingdong shared a snippet of their scene in “AlterNate” to remember Joyce on her 27th birthday.

The Kapuso Primetime King wrote in the caption, "Sinasabi siguro ni Joyce dito: 'Kuya kita rito pero di nila alam Ninong talaga kita.”

"Mula sa pagiging inaanak sa kasal sa totoong buhay, hanggang sa naging maingay at makulit na kapatid sa TV--you're always fun to be with, @chingjoyce!”

He added, "Excited akong mas makilala ka nila sa I Can See You: ALTERNATE. Sa January 10 na! Pero bago yan, happy happy birthday sa iyo!"

Prior to “AlterNate,” Dingdong and Joyce both starred in 2010 GMA series Endless Love, based on the 2000 South Korean television series, Autumn in My Heart -- the first installment of season-themed tetralogy Endless Love.

Dingdong portrayed the lead male role of Johnny, the sibling-turned-lover of Jenny -- played by his now-wife Marian Rivera.

Meanwhile, Joyce portrayed the role of young Shirley. The grownup Shirley (Jenny's archrival) was portrayed by Nadine Samonte.
