Kapuso host Joyce Pring is keeping busy amid the quarantine by releasing the music video for her single “Alone Together.”
The video starts with the Unang Hirit host streaming as she introduces the song and then pans to her friends and fans dancing to the pop song.
Originally meant to highlight mental health issues, the video captures Joyce and her friends enjoying the pleasures of connectivity while in isolation because of the pandemic.
She writes in the caption, “Even though most of us are isolated from each other, we need not face this crisis ALONE. We can unite and be stronger TOGETHER.
“Here's a music video we made for my single 'Alone Together' --- hoping this would bring joy and a sense of unity to those of us who are in quarantine, isolation, away from our loved ones, and are fighting through the crisis. Virtual hugs to everyone.”

In an interview with 24 Oras reporter Aubrey Carampel, Joyce shares that she'd written the song almost two years ago with the help of her brother Victor Pring and vlog creative group U Do U.
She said, “Lahat tayo parang nakaka-relate du'n sa feeling na I feel alone. Parang lahat tayo isolated sa bahay. Kung hindi ka frontliner na talagang isolated because of what you're doing, isolated ka naman sa bahay because of your family or just on your own.
“I feel like a lot of people are feeling alone but dahil nga lahat tayo nakaka-experience nito, we are facing it together.”
