“A dream 15 years in the making,” podcast host and mother of two Joyce Pring wrote in her latest Instagram post.

Joyce Pring is set to achieve an incredible milestone in her life: graduating college.

The mom of two and host revealed that this was “a dream 15 years in the making.” In an Instagram post, Joyce shared her story of finishing her undergraduate degree.

In her post, the wife of Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino revealed that she had to stop her studies because of family and financial instability, and immediately had to start working.

“I carried that pain and shame well into my young adulthood. I used to think about my 'wasted' potential- what I could've become if I had been given the chance to finish. But in my mid-20s, I began to realize: even though I didn't follow the traditional path, God still made much of my life,” she wrote.

The podcast host then shared that in her long career in media, she was able to anchor a radio show, host daily on TV, and have an expansive career in the said field.

In 2023, her manager and mentor, Mama Betchay, encouraged her to pursue her college degree.

“I always wondered what she saw in me that would render such palpable confidence that I could, on top of being a wife, new mom, and a career woman, achieve something so consuming… but she never relented. So, I finally obeyed,” she said.

She also wanted to fulfill her dream “because diploma o diskarte is a false dichotomy; one can do both, even if it's a long and arduous journey.”

Joyce enrolled at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

As she waits to get her diploma and march on stage, Joyce expressed her gratitude to her professors, thesis advisor, the faculty, and her team for their guidance and support.

She also dedicated a sweet message for her kids, Eliam and Agnes, saying "Mama is so blessed to have you both as my wellspring of inspiration."

Joyce also honored her husband, Juancho, who has been her constant encourager.

"Your love and leadership have radically transformed me; my greatest treasure, second only to Jesus, is to be called your beloved," she said.

Joyce ended her post by adding, “My joy and gratitude overflows, not only for this achievement, but for having had the privilege of learning just how capable, loved, supported, blessed, and believed in I am through this whole process- everything being a testament to God's grace and faithfulness. All glory and honor belongs to Him.”
