Unang Hirit host Joyce Pring delighted her Instagram followers by answering some questions about her married life in a recent Q&A session.
The Kapuso host tied the knot with actor Juancho Trivino on February 9, 2020 at the Sofitel Manila.
One of the questions Joyce replied to is whether to choose love or career in your late 20s. She replied that it's all about finding the right balance.
Joyce expounded, “I'm 27 (still in denial that this is “late” 20s) but def focused on my career in my early 20s then when I met Juancho at 26, I learned to balance… so nagpakasal kami agad while staying busy in our individual careers.”
She then went to give her thoughts about couples helping their parents even if they are already busy with their married life.
According to Joyce, this is something that both husband and wife must settle together.
“I think this is something you and your husband should settle on and plan for, together. Parang tithing, I guess? My naka set na percentage on how much or how often you will give (financially) for your parents.
“Or if you can also set an emergency account which can be used should there be emergencies in the family. I believe our parents naman understand that things change when you have your own family na. You can be present for them in different ways as well.”
