Joyce Pring listed three simple ways to keep your “head and heart” healthy.

The pandemic coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 spreads not only infection but also fear and anxiety. With this, Joyce Pring reminds everyone to take good care of your mental health during this global health crisis.

In a recent Instagram post, the Kapuso star said, “Please don't neglect your mental health during this unprecedented time in history.”

Please don't neglect your mental health during this unprecedented time in history. Here are some things to remember to make sure your head and heart are healthy: 1. It's ok to be productive, but also, now's not the time to obsess over productivity. It's okay to slow down, tune out, take a nap, and process your emotions -- this pandemic situation is a lot to take in, and the last thing we should be doing is slumping ourselves with work in order to brush our emotions off. 2. Take the news in bite-size pieces you can chew. Delete your Twitter app for the meantime when it gets too toxic, mute your groups when it gets overwhelming, only read / watch the news at a specific time of the day. Be informed, but don't let it overwhelm you. 3. Connect with people. Talk to your therapist online. Create a video chat with your friends. Call your parents. Pray for them, pray with them. We're all going through the same thing, and we need each other to thrive. Tonight, we release a new episode of the show #AdultingWithJoycePring and we got Doc @giasison on to talk about how to better take care of our mental health during this time of crisis. ❤️ thank you also to @themindnation! 7PM TONIGHT on Spotify, iTunes, Anchor, and all your other favorite podcast providers. #podcast #talkshow #mentalhealth #COVID19
