Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino has a lot to be thankful for last year.

In an Instagram post, he compiled some personal highlights from 2022 which included traveling with his wife Joyce Pring and their son Eliam, extending his contract with GMA, preparing to welcome his and Joyce's second baby and of course, his star-making turn as the vile Padre Salvi in hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra.

"Best of 2022. Sharing you guys best moments of this year for me. (Kulang pa nga ung 10)

"What a wild year I have, definitely a rollercoaster of a ride sobra with all the highs and lows. I praise God that with all that, we are all wiser and tougher for his Glory alone," he wrote on the caption of his post.

He also expressed appreciation for his Maria Clara at Ibarra co-star Kiel Rodriguez who plays Renato, the Sacristan Mayor closely working for Padre Salvi. According to Juancho, Kiel's character Renato is the Robin to his Padre Salvi's Batman.

Bagging the role of Padre Salvi is one of the biggest blessings of his career and Juancho recognizes how much of a boost the banter and easy chemistry with Kiel's Renato was for the popularity of his character.

"Nandyan si Renato (@kielrodriguez) dahil siya si Robin ni PS [Padre Salvi], and si PS ay isang napakalaking blessing para sa career ko," he added.

Juancho recently bagged an award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Padre Salvi at the 2022 TAG Awards Chicago.
