Juancho Trivino

Actor-TV host Juancho Trivino does his part to help the government by encouraging others to get their COVID-19 shots

With the slow COVID-19 vaccine rollout in the Philippines, Kapuso actor-TV host Juancho Trivino is doing what he could to convince people to be inoculated as soon as possible.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), 17.2 million doses have already been administered but only over six million of our kababayans have been fully inoculated.

On July 29, Juancho shared his COVID-19 vaccination experience in San Juan City saying that he got the single dose Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.

He posted, “After a long wait, and after praying about it with my wife - I finally am vaccinated, fully yes (because it was the J&J one) thank you to bro @ervicvijandre and the city of San Juan for accepting me.”

“PS: Tho influencers have “influence” please also do your due diligence in asking medical pros about this.”

Malacañang announced today that the National Capital Region (NCR) will be placed again under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from August 6 to 20.

This measure is to prevent the further increase of COVID-19 infections with health experts being concerned about the spread of the Delta variant.

The Philippines logged 8,562 new infections on July 30 pushing the total number of cases to 1,580, 824.
