The Barretto clan has been among the most prominent celebrity families in the Philippines. They continue to share their legacy with the country with new generations of Barrettos, like sisters Julia and Dani.
In an interview during a contract signing event in Quezon City last Monday, August 5, Julia and Dani shared a bit about their relationship as sisters and proudly said they never experienced any sibling rivalry.
“We support each other in everything,” Dani said.
In a separate statement, Dani also addressed their possible sibling rivalry and said, “Iyan 'yung isang bagay na proud ako talaga kasi we never fought about anything regarding work kasi magkaiba kami ng ginawa sa buhay.”
She said, “We're very close. I think isang bagay 'yan na proud ako kasi [...] bata pa lang kami, close na talaga kami.”
Meanwhile, Julia lauded Dani in an interview about her being a good older sister to her and their younger siblings, Leon and Claudia.
Julia also added that she and Dani have a bond that helps them look after their younger siblings.
“I think we have this dynamic that because we're both the ates, parang we really have to have a strong [and] unbreakable bond, kasi paano 'yung younger siblings namin?”
She added, “Me and my younger siblings are just so grateful that Dani is our ate and that she's the ate of all of us because if I have to be the ate of everyone, I don't know [what to do].”
Dani, Julia, Claudia, and Leon are children of Filipina actress Marjorie Barretto. They also have a younger sibling named Erich.
