
Several multi-talented Sparkle artists have secured nominations at the 16th Star Awards for Music.
Leading the pack is Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose who will be vying for the Female Recording Artist of the Year and Female Pop Artist of the Year awards.
Julie Anne San Jose is currently the host of the Kapuso singing contest The Clash and is one of the judges in The Voice Kids. She is also a mainstay in the Sunday musical variety show All-Out Sundays.
Matt Lozano is getting another huge blessing after the success of their parody song “Salarin, Salarin.” Matt is also nominated in the category Male Pop Artist of the Year. The Bubble Gang actor has been basking in the popularity of Michael V.'s latest parody hit, which was inspired by the hit song of P-pop idol group BINI. The Sparkle actor-singer played the idol Bini Guy of the Ka-Bubble group BINI-b10, while Direk Bitoy portrayed the leader and main vocalist, Bini MAY JOWANA.
