Even if learning the Middle Eastern dance was difficult, Julie Anne San Jose gamely took on the challenge and passed it with flying colors!
Limitless star Julie Anne San Jose performed something new for her recent All-Out Sundays performance as she tried belly dancing for her production number.
In an interview posted on ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments), the Sparkle star said the new experience was challenging for her.
Julie Anne added that she chose it because it was a new genre of dancing and it was something she hasn't done before.
"I've never really tried belly dancing so sabi ko sa sarili ko, baka dapat gawin ko itong number na ito. Ito yung hindi ko pa nagagawa ever sa production numbers ko, as far as I know," she explained.
Julie Anne also highlighted how belly dancing was harder than she thought it would be.
"It's harder than I thought it would be. Mahirap pala siyang gawin, yung belly dancing. Kailangan talaga niya ng formal training para makuha mo 'yung tamang rhythm, tamang flow, tamang tindig [at] tamang form," she continued.
Julie Anne said she is looking forward to learning more about belly dancing.
