Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose has reason to be extra happy this week as she has finally received the New York Festivals TV and Film award that was given to Limitless: A Musical Trilogy earlier this year.

In a post on her Instagram account, Julie Anne posted a photo of her with the Silver Award for the Entertainment Special: Variety Special category at the 2022 New York Festivals TV and Film Awards awarded to Limitless: A Musical Trilogy. In the caption, Julie Anne expressed how it was still surreal to win the award and that getting it was “truly a milestone.”

The nomination for Limitless: A Musical Trilogy was announced in April this year, with the different people involved in it with Julie Anne expressing their amazement at their hard work being recognized. In an interview for the streaming premiere for “Limitless: Rise," Julie said she and the team were “overwhelmed” but happy that all their efforts were worth it.

Their win was announced in the same month, with Julie Anne posting a video of her speech where she commended the Limitless team, “along with every Filipino,” has shown the world that “we can rise above the challenges of this global pandemic.”

Aside from the New York Festivals nomination and win, she and the Limitless team were also able to successfully mount Limitless Live! to a lively crowd of more than a hundred people at the Sun Life Amphitheater at the Bonifacio Global City last March.

Julie Anne described the experience as “one for the books” and said that the support of “fans, friends, and family” really lifted her up.
