Julie Ann San Jose says the song with Gary V was ready as early as last year!
Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose gave her Instagram followers a great treat so early in the morning as she revealed that she has a new song out with none other than Mr. Pure Energy himself, Gary Valenciano.
In a post on her Instagram account, Julie Anne posted two photos of her with Gary V, and revealed in the caption that she had written the song for their collaboration, “Di Ka Akin,” last year. She called the successful collaboration “unreal” and working with Gary V “a dream come true.”
Julie Anne and Gary already share a connection through Paolo Valenciano, Gary's son and creative director of Limitless: A Musical Trilogy, which was nominated and won the Silver Award for the Entertainment Special: Variety Special category at the 2022 New York Festivals TV and Film Awards.
During a press conference for the streaming premiere of “Limitless Part 3: Rise,” Julie Anne called the nomination “surreal” but that it made all of their hard work “worth it.”
“Surreal lang sobra at worth it lahat ng pagod at hard work. Nakakatuwa lang po kasi family ko na rin po itong Limitless team kaya nakakataba talaga ng puso kasi worth it po talaga lahat,” she explained.
This new collaboration is another addition to what has been a successful several months for Julie Anne. Aside from the New York Festivals nomination and win, she and the Limitless team were also able to successfully mount Limitless Live! to a lively crowd of more than a hundred people at the Sun Life Amphitheater at the Bonifacio Global City last March.
Julie Anne described the experience as “one for the books” and said that the support of “fans, friends, and family” really lifted her up.
