Julie Anne San Jose, “Gusto ko pang i-explore 'yung mga kaya kong gawin.”
“May mga mahihirap na numbers na, hopefully, sana ma-pull off.”
This is what Julie Anne San Jose shared about her upcoming concert, Julie Sings the Divas, during its blog conference earlier, July 12.
Julie is no amateur when it comes to singing, but there are still some performances that she rehearses with extra preparation.
She mentioned Celine Dion's “All By Self” as one of the the songs she'll be performing in her concert which she finds the most challenging.
“Pero ibang treatment 'yung gagawin ko. Iba 'yung arrangement, sound…,” she said.
Another song she's thoroughly practicing is a Lara Fabian's hit song titled “Adagio.”
“Yun 'yung nire-rehearse ko, mahirap kasi siyang kantahin, ang laki ng vocal range niya.
“Iba pa 'yung mga notes, may mga flats, may mga sharp. 'Tapos meron pang interlude and may mga breaks at high notes,” she explained.
Fans are in for a treat at Julie showcases her diva side, a refreshing variation from her usual bubblegum pop and R&B performances.
“This is something I've never really done before, gusto ko pang i-explore 'yung mga kaya kong gawin.”
