It was a heart-wrenching week for the characters of Carlo J. Caparas’ Joaquin Bordado; Joaquin had chosen to end things with Brianna and restart his life with Sofia; Jerome made a decision to fully ally himself with General Russo and the Xelvarria; and a Borda chose to end his existence for Jason’s.
When Jilco revealed to Joaquin the last resort for saving Jason, he made the decision to sacrifice one of his own Bordas to save his brother’s life. Erenea feared that this would spell Joaquin’s undoing, especially now that Cefiro seemed to have found the Heir of Xelvarria. The problem is, they don’t know who the heir is.
Jason did know, though, until the cherubim’s sacrifice undid everything that happened inside Jason’s head. And now, all Jason gets is a weird feeling whenever he's near Sofia. He knew something was wrong with his sister-in-law; he just couldn’t put his finger on it.
With Cefiro out of the picture, General Russo took it upon himself to recruit Jerome to his cause. And after learning that this would pit Joaquin and Sofia against each other, he willingly signed up. A new partnership of evil was born.
Meanwhile, Cecile decided to give Jason another chance to work on their relationship. And when Joaquin chose to end things with Brianna for another chance with Sofia, the scorned woman decided to strike back. Unfortunately for Joaquin, Brianna was more well-connected to the underground than he thought. She was the daughter of the woman who swore to make his life hell.
Brianna will do everything to make sure Joaquin does not get his happily-ever-after.
