Joaquin decided to grant Jimboy his own Borda, Sofia found a new mother figure with her doctor, and Cefiro began to search for the heir of the Xelvarria.
Warden had tricked Alfredo into giving him an ability, a power over fire that should have cemented the Warden’s place as one of Joaquin’s staunchest allies. Unfortunately for the Warden, he caught the wrong person to endanger for Joaquin to save—because Jimboy was no longer just another helpless boy. And instead of killing the last Borda, the Warden was killed by General Russo, who was none too happy with the erstwhile minion.
But instead of going against Joaquin again, General Russo made a power play. He revealed to Joaquin that his brother was hiding powers from him—evil powers that the general planned to take, and was racing with Joaquin to capture first.
Meanwhile, Sofia was taken to a safer place by her doctor—a place where she met Brianna, Joaquin’s new paramour. But Jerome had been able to follow her still, and after she turned him away again, he was set on teaching the love of his life a lesson: that no one turns Jerome away and continues to live.
Jason slowly succumbed to Cefiro’s darkness, and Joaquin asked Cecile to bring him back to the side of good. But it might have been too late for Cecile, after Jason acted on his own volition—and hurt Cecile’s suitor real bad. And to make matters worse, Cefiro was able to trap Jason with an artifact that would point them to the location of the Xelvarria’s heir.
