Jung Hae-in is back in Manila for his "Our Time" fan meeting.
During the event held in New Frontier Theater, Quezon City, the South Korean actor surprised the audience with his Tagalog skills.
“Kamusta kayo? Ang tagal nating hindi nagkita. Namiss niyo ba ako? Namiss ko 'rin kayo… Masaya akong makita kayo ulit!” he said.
At a fan Q&A he was asked what activities he would love to do in the Philippines and he shared that he wants to try surfing.
“Aside from snowboarding, if I ever have an opportunity to have a trip in the Philippines, I actually would like to try surfing here,” he said.
He also thanked his Filipino fans for their loyalty and enthusiasm each time he visits the country.
"Whenever I visit here in the Philippines, I feel so grateful because you guys are always cheering for me and coming over to see me every time I come to Manila. Thank you so much. I'll make sure to keep your hearts and go back to Korea, so whenever I'm doing a project and having a hard time, I'm reminded of you guys,” he said.
"During the time I was in Korea, you guys were able to do great things and fun things together. You guys are so cool, and also every time there is a shooting, I remember the snacks and coffee that you guys send us abroad even though you are apart from me. So, I actually appreciate every bit of effort and love from you guys,” Hae-in added.
Jung Hae-in has visited the Philippines for solo fan meetings in 2018 and 2019.
The South Korean star also sang several songs, including “The Truth,” which he also performed for his K-Drama Love Next Door, and “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez.
