The Sandiganbayan First Division last week allowed the actor/politician to visit his father today and on June 20 under certain conditions.

Detained former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. took to Facebook to ask for prayers as his father, ex-Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. undergoes a medical procedure to treat his heart ailment.

“Lord God, please watch over Daddy tomorrow as he once again undergoes a medical procedure. Panginoon, bantayan niyo po , hindi lamang po siya kundi pati ang kanyang mga doktor at mga nurse na siyang magsisikap na pabutihin ang kanyang kalagayan . Lord, give Daddy strength not only of the body but also of the mind to endure what is to come. Make his doctors confident and steady. We trust that through them, Daddy will be blessed with your power of healing. Amen.”

Based on the latest social media post of the younger Revilla, his Dad is doing well after the surgery.

“Operation went very well!!! Praise GOD  They will bring him to CCU first for monitoring. Continue praying for daddy's fast recovery and free from complications. GOD IS GOOD!!!! Maraming Salamat po sa inyong patuloy na pagdarasal para sa aming ama. ”

Meanwhile, Bong is facing plunder and graft charges before the Sandiganbayan for allegedly pocketing Php 224.5 million in "kickbacks" from his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
