Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla has officially confirmed that she is expecting her second child with actor Aljur Abrenica on YouTube today, August 4.

On her vlog, the actress dedicated a 12-minute video for her firstborn, Baby Alas, who is currently celebrating his second birthday.

By the 8-minute mark, the screen turned dark and the actress says, “There is a surprise, I think it's an open secret everybody knows.”

“Uhm… but yes we are expecting our second child.

“My husband and I are expecting our second child and we are equally as happy. Although the journey with this one is most especially different from the first.”

In the video, Kylie together with Aljur and Baby Alas did a mini-gender reveal that definitely surprised the actor.

“Boy? Ulit?” Aljur asks while blue-colored confetti showered all around him.

Kylie explained, “So the original plan was to keep it a secret and to have that gender reveal for the both of us.

“Being me, I got way too excited. I didn't study nursing or study how to look at an ultrasound.

“But since Alas's pregnancy, I knew how to look at the gender of the baby. So I knew right away that it was a boy cause I could see his thingamabob.

“All the while we all thought it was a girl, which is absolutely hilarious, even I thought it was a girl because I was much more emotional in this one… in this pregnancy.

“We're happy with anything. I'm just happy that I have another new blessing and to get to know another new person, another little one that's going to teach me so many things,” she says.
