Justin Bieber staged a nostalgic comeback at Coachella 2026

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber officially marked his comeback on April 11 with a 90-minute set that blended new music with fan-favorite hits, ushering in what many are calling his “Swag” era. The performance highlighted tracks from his recent two-part album SWAG, while also revisiting the songs that defined his career.

The first half of the show leaned into his newer sound, featuring tracks like “All I Can Take,” “Speed Demon,” “First Place,” and “Butterflies.” He also brought out The Kid LAROI for their hit collaboration “Stay,” energizing the crowd early in the set.

Midway through, however, the tone shifted into a more intimate and nostalgic experience.

Justin sat on a stool behind a simple table with a laptop, creating a laid-back atmosphere that felt more like hanging out in a bedroom than watching a festival set. He interacted with the livestream, seemingly taking cues from fans on what songs to revisit next, while old music videos played behind him.

This segment saw Bieber perform beloved classics such as “Baby,” “Favorite Girl,” “That Should Be Me,” and “Never Say Never,” drawing cheers from longtime fans. He also delivered covers of “With You” by Chris Brown and “So Sick” by Ne-Yo, adding a personal touch to the stripped-down portion of the show.

The set continued with crowd favorites like “Sorry,” “Where Are U Now,” and “I'm The One,” before transitioning back into newer material. Bieber later welcomed collaborators including Dijon, Tems, Wizkid, and Mk.gee for special performances, further elevating the set's dynamic feel.

Among the standout moments was a performance of “Essence,” originally by Wizkid, with Tems joining in, as well as “Devotion,” “I Think You're Special,” and “Daisies,” which showcased Justin's evolving artistry.
