JYP Entertainment has responded to reports that TWICE member Tzuyu is set to part ways with the company.
On Monday, a Korean media outlet reported that Tzuyu would be leaving JYP Entertainment after spending 11 years with the agency. The report added that she is expected to continue participating in TWICE's group activities.
In a brief statement, JYP Entertainment said discussions regarding the members' contracts are still ongoing.
"TWICE is currently in the period of discussing contract renewals, and we will inform you as soon as matters are finalized," the agency said.
The statement neither confirmed nor denied the report, indicating that decisions regarding the group's contract renewals have yet to be finalized.
TWICE recently wrapped up its sixth world tour, "THIS IS FOR."
Further updates on the group's contract renewals are expected once JYP Entertainment releases an official announcement.
