YG Entertainment has recently revealed that K-Pop boy group BIGBANG along with its members G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP, and Daesung have renewed their contracts with the Korean agency.
The news was reported by Korean entertainment news agency, Soompi and AllKpop.
According to reports, YG Entertainment described the band as surpassing “the limitations of music alone, changing the very flow of South Korea's popular culture.
“We will support BIGBANG in all areas so that they can continue to contribute to the history of KPop as YG Entertainment's most representative artists.”
This is the third time the group has renewed its contract with YG Entertainment.
BIGBANG is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment which consists of four members: G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, and Daesung. Former member Seungri retired from the industry on March 11, 2019, after the Burning Sun Scandal.
Last Monday, March 9, Seungri officially enlisted in the military at the 6th Infantry Recruit Training Center in Cheorwon County in Gangwon Province.
The group made their debut in 2006 with the album Bigbang Vol1.
