TAN, which stands for “To All Nations,” is currently in the country for their two-week “FIRST STEP: To All Nations Philippine Promotion Tour.”
TAN is a seven-member KPop idol group composed of Changsun, Jooan, Jaejun, Sunghyuk, Hyunyeop, Taehoon, and Jiseong.
The group is eager to take one step closer to their Pinoy fans as they do a series of fan meetings, mall shows, and television interviews and performances.
In a media conference held on Thursday, November 3, the group said they visited the Philippines first because they know that the love and support of Filipino fans for K-pop is really amazing.
“Even while we're doing our activities in Korea, we have seen a lot of support from Filipino fans,” the group said in Korean.
On Friday night, TAN met their fans, collectively known as SODA, at an event held at the Music Museum.
The group is also set to join the Happy Hallyu event at the Robinsons Magnolia on Sunday, November 6. Then, the seven members of TAN will perform at the K-pop conventions in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro on November 12 and 13, respectively.
TAN was formed through the MBC survival audition show, Extreme Debut: Wild Idol. The show not only showcased their singing, rapping, and dancing skills but also their mental and physical strength. The final lineup was revealed during the finale on December 16, 2021, and officially made their debut as TAN on March 10, 2022.
Seven months after their debut, the group has already released three extended plays and one single album. Their debut EP, 1TAN, was released on March 10 with the lead single "Du Du Du". On June 21, TAN released the first part of their second EP, 2TAN, with its lead single "Louder". This was immediately followed by the release of the second part lead single, "Walking On The Moon" on July 26.
On October 11, TAN made their comeback with their first single album, Dream & Deurim, with the lead single "Beautiful Lie".
TAN's management, Think Entertainment, has announced that the group is also set to continue its world tour until January 2023. After the Philippines, they are scheduled to meet their international fans in the Dominican Republic, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Bangladesh, and the USA.
