Kakai Bautista remains mum on the allegation of using the name of Thai actor Mario Maurer in statements.
Umani ng mga tagapagtanggol ang Dental Diva na si Kakai Bautista matapos lumabas ang balita tungkol sa demand letter na ipinadala ng kampo ng Thai actor na si Mario Maurer.
Kamakailan ay lumabas sa mga balita ang tungkol sa "cease and desist letter" na ipinadala ng talent management ni Mario, and Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., LTD, sa talent manager ni Kakai na si Freddie Bautista.
Nakapaloob sa naturang liham ang pagde-deny ng kampo ni Mario sa mga lumabas noong balita tungkol sa pagiging malapit ni Kakai sa Thai actor.
"Upon consultation with our client, we would like to confirm that all statements and claims made by Catherine 'Kakai' Bautista regarding her claims of proximity to Mario Maurer are hereby DENIED as false and untrue."
Nakasaad din dito ang utos para huminto na si Kakai sa paggamit ng pangalan ni Mario sa anumang pahayag, "directly or indirectly."
"By so using the name of our talent, Catherine 'Kakai' Bautista is improperly exploiting the name, image and reputation of Mario Maurer and his manager, and may be violating existing laws of the Republic of the Philippines and the Kingdom of Thailand.”
Sa huling bahagi ng demand letter, sinabi ng kampo ng Thai actor na kung hindi susunod si Kakai, "Kwaonhar and its staff will have no other alternative but to pursue (without any further notice to you) formal claims against your talent to protect his rights to the broadest extent."
Sa ngayon ay wala pang pormal na pahayag ang singer-actress tungkol sa isyu.
Ngunit para sa ilan, naging malaman ang isang Instagram post ni Kakai kamakailan, kung saan sinabi niyang, "Hoooh hirap pag sobrang gandaaa 🤣 ISMAYL nalang si Tyang sa mga taong ayaw tumigil."
Sa isa namang Instagram post, sinabi ni Kakai, "BRB. Too busy loving myself. Too busy being grateful."
Sa kabila ng pananahimik ni Kakai, marami naman ang nagpahayag ng suporta para sa First Yaya actress.
Nauna na rito ang reporter-athlete na si Kim Atienza, na nagsabing, "In other news, Hayaan mo @kakaibautista you deserve to be linked to someone more deserving of you and your talent. Kainis."
