Many fans of Korean actor Kang Tae-oh across the world are feeling a bit sad with his military enlistment happening this September.
In a previous report of K-entertainment site Soompi, the Extraordinary Attorney Woo star had to enlist yesterday, September 20.
In South Korea, all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 must serve in the military as part of efforts to defend against their neighbor North Korea.
On Monday (September 19), Tae-oh took to Instagram to thank everyone for the support and even showed off his buzz haircut, before entering the military.
He posted, “많은 분들의 응원과 과분한 사랑 감사드립니다. 씩씩하게 잘 다녀올게요. 곧 봐요. (I thank everyone for their support and abundant love. I will return bravely. See you soon.)”
Several Korean stars also reacted to his post that has garnered over 1.2 million likes.
Kang Tae-oh's popularity further rose this 2022, when he portrayed Lee Jun-ho of the Hanbada Law Firm in the hit K-drama series Extraordinary Attorney Woo, wherein he was paired with the equally-talented Park Eun-bin.
