Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal shared where she got her business acumen and financial skills.

In a post on Instagram, the actress revealed how she became a good provider for her family by learning money tips from her mom that her sister Kate practices too.

Her mother is of Chinese and Ilocano descent.

She wrote, “One of the absolute best feelings in the world is knowing that you can provide for your family needs and make sure you are not neglecting them. My simple mom with a Chinese (my grandpa) and Ilocana (my grandma) descent.

“Oh boy, I learned from her how to save money and make it grow, which my sister Kate is good at too. The saving money tips she taught me all through the years has helped me save for my goals and spend wisely on what matters most to me. Thanks Mom! I look up to you in a thousand ways!”
