Who would have thought that after watching Bakekang as a kid, Sparkle actress-singer Brianna will be able to work with Yasmien Kurdi?
Yasmien is set to will play the role of Ina, the eldest sister of Bea Alonzo's character named Dani, in the much-awaited primetime series Start-Up PH.
In her post via Instagram Story, Brianna's father, multi-awarded comedian Michael V. unearthed an old photo of her with Yasmien, when she was taping for the drama series Bakekang, which aired from 2006 to 2007.
She wrote in the caption, “Thank you @michaelbitoy for digging these up.
“They were taping Bakekang in one of the townhouses near the house I used to live in growing up.
“The show was one of the first teleserye I got hooked on as a kid.”
Start-Up PH is directed by Direk Jerry Sineneng and Direk Dominic Zapata.
Also part of the star-studded cast are Asia's Multimedia star Alden Richards, Jeric Gonzales, Gabby Eigenmann, Jackielou Blanco, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Boy 2 Quizon, Royce Cabrera, Nino Muhlach, Lovely Rivero, Tim Yap, Kaloy Tingcungco, and actress-director Ms. Gina Alajar.
Catch the world premiere on GMA Telebabad this coming September 26.
