In a tweet, Winwyn, a self-confessed fan of DOTS, said that if given the chance she would love to be a part of the Pinoy version of this Korean drama.
Former Reina Hispanoamericana Winwyn Marquez is ready to take on the challenge of playing Yoon Myeong-Joo in the Pinoy adaptation of the hugely popular K-drama series “Descendants of the Sun” (DOTS).
In a tweet, Winwyn, a self-confessed fan of DOTS said that if given the chance she would love to portray the character of the military surgeon portrayed by South Korean actress Kim Ji-won.
“I would love to play the role of Yoon Myeong-Joo in DOTS ph adaptation been really vocal about it. I've seen the series more than 3 times and just know everything about it haha but im already part of another show. ”

Earlier today, it was announced at the contract renewal of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes that he was given the role of DOTS' 'Big Boss,' which was originally played by South Korean actor Song Joong-ki.
In addition, the Kapuso actor was also tapped to become the creative consultant of the big drama project.
