GMA Network continues to expand its nationwide coverage with the launch of its originating station in Ilocos this month of June. GMA Network continues to expand its nationwide coverage with the launch of its originating station in Ilocos this month of June. And the exciting Kapuso experience further intensifies this Saturday, June 9, as GMA Network brings some of its biggest stars to Laoag for an exciting and fun-filled Kapuso Day!
Leading the Kapuso Day celebration is the cast of GMA-7’s newly launched Afternoon Prime drama, Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka? – Geoff Eigenmann, Jackie Rice, and Jennica Garcia. Joining them are Hiram Na Puso lead actor Mark Herras; Broken Vow’s Rochelle Pangilinan; Party Pilipinas’ Kyla and La Diva; Protégé Season 1’s Grand Champion Krizza Neri and title contenders Lovely Embuscado, Lirah Bermudez, Nomer Limatog Jr., Jensen Teñoso, and Denise Barbacena; and the cast of the upcoming Afternoon Prime program of GMA, Faithfully, led by Michelle Madrigal, Mike Tan, Will Devaugn, and Victor Aliwalas.
Serving as program hosts are Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown’s Sole Survivor Betong Sumaya and GMA Regional TV personality and beauty queen Ana Maris Igpit.
The Kapuso Day will start as early as 8am at the Ilocos Norte Capitol Stage in Laoag City, followed by the auditions for Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break at 9am until 12nn.
Wrapping up the day is a Kapuso Night filled with exciting games for the audience and live performances from the Kapuso stars.
Oliver Amoroso, Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing of GMA Regional TV, says “The Network has prepared long and hard for its originating station in Ilocos, so it is just fitting that we kick off its launch with a loud bang together with our Kapusong Ilokanos. We are certain that they will enjoy the Kapuso Day with everything that’s in store for them, and we hope that this would mark the start of us being closer to their hearts.”
The highlights of the Kapuso Day in Ilocos can be seen in Let’s Fiesta TV Special on July 1 airing via the Network’s regional stations in Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, Ilocos, CDO, GenSan, Naga, and Bacolod.
