GMA Network once again proves its excellence and dedication in the media industry with another batch of prestigious awards.

Several Kapuso programs and stars recently triumphed at the 2026 Gandingan Awards, held at the D.L. Umali Hall of University of the Philippines Los Baños.

Among the standout moments of the night was Raffy Tima's win as the Best TV Program Host for Balitanghali.

"Maraming salamat sa muling pagkilala, Gandingan Awards. Mabuhay ang malaya at totoong pagbabalita," he wrote in a post.

Leading the Kapuso winning list was Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), which further proved its impact with multiple awards. The show earned Most Development-oriented Public Service Program for its episode “Bagong Umaga ni Aurora,” and Most Development-oriented Investigative Story for “Katakot-takot na Kurakot Part 4.”

News program Saksi also made its mark, winning Most Development-Oriented News Story for its report on the country's plastic waste problem and the actions taken by several local government units to address it.

Meanwhile, GMA Public Affairs' documentary Broken Roads and Broken Promises won the Most Development-oriented Documentary. Award-winning actor and host Dingdong Dantes also expressed his gratitude for the recognition online.

"Maraming salamat, Gandingan Awards. Para po ito sa inyo, mga Kapuso," he posted.

In the entertainment category, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre was recognized as the Most Development-oriented Drama Program for its outstanding episode 5.

Other notable wins included Agripreneur's Most Development-Oriented Feature Story award and digital program DigiDokyu's Most Development-oriented Science and Technology Program for its episode “Rice is Life - Solutions from Filipino Farmers.”

The Gandingan Awards aim to recognize media practitioners and programs that promote development journalism—highlighting stories that inspire solutions, empower communities, and drive social change.

Congratulations once again to all Kapuso winners!
