The Negrenses’ Panaad Festival this year is bound to be filled with songs as Kapuso RnB Prince and Princess Jay-R and Kyla join the festivities on April 9!

 

Dubbed as Negros Occidental’s “mother of all festivals,” Panaad, which is the Hiligaynon term for vow or promise, is an annual celebration that serves as a thanksgiving to the Divine Providence for the good life bestowed upon the people as they fulfill their vow to the Higher Being. The festival, which is held in the month of April in the city of Bacolod, is participated in by the province’s other 12 cities and 19 towns.

 

RnB Princess Kyla of Party Pilipinas kicks off GMA Network’s participation on April 9 through a Kapuso Meet and Greet, 4PM, at SM City Bacolod.

 

She will then be joined by RnB Prince Jay-R (Party Pilipinas) and other Kapuso stars Sarah Lahbati (from the upcoming Kapuso primetime offering Makapiling Kang Muli) and Steven Silva (Party Pilipinas) at 8PM for a fun-filled Kapuso Night at Panaad Park and Stadium.

 

Kapuso heartthrob TJ Trinidad (Makapiling Kang Muli), meanwhile, will serenade the candidates of the “Lin-ay Sang Negros” beauty pageant during its Coronation Night on April 13, 8PM, at the Panaad Park and Stadium. Hosting the big night are GMA Regional TV personality Anna Maris Igpit and Kapuso artist Victor Aliwalas.

 

GMA Network will also be giving a “Miss Kapuso Special Award” to the deserving candidate during the said coronation night.  

 

Wrapping up the Kapuso Network’s participation is another Meet and Greet with Kapuso stars TJ and Jackie Rice (Bubble Gang) on April 14, 4PM, at SM City Bacolod.

The highlights of GMA Network’s participation in Panaad Festival can be seen in the TV Special Let’s Fiesta airing via the Network’s regional stations in Davao, CDO, GenSan, Dagupan, Cebu, Iloilo, Naga, and Bacolod on April 29.
