Inilunsad kahapon, July 17, ang kauna-unahang Pinoy-made anime series na Barangay 143 sa The Elements at Centris sa Quezon City.

Iikot ang kuwento sa favorite past time ng mga Pinoy, ang basketball, kung saan sa Pilipinas din ang setting.

Ang Barangay 143 ay prinodyus ng Philippine-based studio na Synergy888, Singaporean firm na August Media Holidings at broadcasting TV company sa Japan na TV Asahi.
