On Wednesday, May 8, Julie Anne performs at the opening of the Filipino Restaurant Week 2019 at the High Bar Roof Top. Joining her is Studio 7 co-star Rayver who is looking forward to bond with the Pinoys abroad.

The event, which starts at 3 p.m., jumpstarts the annual celebration of the Fil-Am communities in the East Coast wherein various restaurants highlight and serve Filipino cuisine. This year's featured ingredient is the coconut, one of the country's most notable food export.

It is spearheaded by the Philippine Consulate in New York City in partnership with GMA Pinoy TV, Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C., Department of Tourism, and Department of Trade and Industries.

The next day, May 9, Christian joins the panel of judges for the Brooklyn auditions of GMA Network's singing competition The Clash.

Happening at D' Haven Restaurant and Events Place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Brooklyn auditions is open to amateur and professional Filipino/Filipino-American singers who are at least 16 years old. Hopefuls need to bring a 4R size photo, original and photocopy of birth certificate or passport, and a minus one audition piece saved on USB thumb drive.
