Most Filipinos went to sleep, anticipating the next morning the demise of Mary Jane Veloso who is in death row. But in the wee hours of Wednesday, good news greeted us that our fellow Filipino has been reprieved.

Kapuso personalities join the rest of the nation in celebrating this victory.

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes saw the power of social media for the collective effort to save the life of Mary Jane. He wrote, “All the voices r contributory on why today #MaryJaneLives.”



Kapuso hosts Iya Villania and Rovilson Fernandez both rejoiced upon waking up to the good news.





FHM cover girl and Bubble shaker Arny Ross affirmed that nothing is impossible with God.

She said on her Instagram post, “Hearing the news about Mary Jane's case really melt my heart and it's a proof that with God, nothing is impossible, sana magtuloy tuloy na.”

Rodjun Cruz and Mark Bautista also asked to continue praying for Mary Jane.

Rodjun wrote, “Nakakalibot ang nangyari. Wala talagang imposible kay Lord God!???? Thank you Lord. Ipagpatuloy natin ang pagdadasal kay Mary Jane Veloso at sa kanyang pamilya. --- All things are possible for one who believes Mark 9:23???? #miracle #maryjaneveloso.”
