John Lloyd Cruz's was met with a lot of fanfare, not just from his fans, but from Kapuso stars at well.

Aside from GMA executives welcoming him to the station, a number of GMA stars were also shown giving video messages to John Lloyd and expressing their desire to work with him on a project.

Some of the stars shown include Barbie Forteza, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, Ruru Madrid, Pokwang, Sanya Lopez, Julie Anne San Jose, Bianca Umali, Andrea Torres, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Alden Richards, Bea Alonzo, Marian Rivera, and Dingdong Dantes.

Barbie expressed her disbelief at John Lloyd Cruz making a project with GMA, saying “Pamanatayan siya ng lahat ng leading man.”

Ruru Madrid said he was looking forward to working with John Lloyd, saying the actor was one of his idols.

Pokwang, on the other hand, called John Lloyd a genuine and good person while Ai-Ai reminded him to “always be a good boy” and expressed her wish to work with him on a soap opera.

Dingdong said he could not hide his excitement at one of the best actors in the industry being on a project with GMA.

But perhaps the most anticipated message was from Bea Alonzo, who John Lloyd has been paired with on multiple shows and movies.

“Magkasama na naman tayo. Magkadugtong nga yata ang bituka nating dalawa,” she said. “I can't wait for everyone to see the greatness of a John Lloyd Cruz the same way I did.”

For his part, John Lloyd had a ready quip.

“Excited ako doon sa isang artista na hindi ko kilala. Si Bea Alonzo. Sana makatrabaho ko siya para malaman kung magkadugtong nga ang bituka namin,” he joked.
