Kara David is now in possession of the Death Note!
Netizens and anime fans are going gaga over Kara David's latest Facebook update.
The multi-awarded Kapuso documentarist shared that she received a gift from her co-teacher in the University of Diliman that caught the attention of the online world.
Kara wrote, “Sinurpresa ako ng aking co-faculty sa gitna ng klase. Hahahaha. “Kara” po ang pangalan ko hindi “Kira”. Thank Ronin for this cool gift. Shinigami yarn?”
Her post has already gone viral with over 86,000 engagements and was shared over 11,000 times.
Death Note is a popular anime series based on a manga about a Japanese high schooler named Light Yagami, who comes into possession of a mystical notebook. He then finds out that he has the power to kill anybody whose name he enters in it.
In the story, Light used the alias 'Kira.'
